• Condition: OEM used, belt teeth condition verified, length and width specification documented, cord integrity inspected
• Availability: In stock, Geo Spectrum timing belt available (very rare vehicle - limited sourcing)
• Shipping: Free shipping to all 50 states, 5 to 10 business days
• Part verified as OEM timing belt for Geo Spectrum 1989 applications (also cross-references to Chevrolet Spectrum 1985-1988 same vehicle pre-Geo)
• IMPORTANT - 1989 ONLY GEO BRAND: The Geo Spectrum was sold under the Geo brand for 1989 model year ONLY - making it the rarest Geo brand vehicle. The same vehicle was sold as Chevrolet Spectrum 1985-1988 (pre-Geo brand era) and was discontinued after 1989 (no continuation under Chevrolet, Geo, or any other GM brand)
• IMPORTANT - INTERFERENCE ENGINE: The Geo Spectrum / Chevy Spectrum uses an interference engine design - timing belt failure causes valves and pistons to collide, causing severe internal engine damage. Replace timing belt at recommended interval (60,000-90,000 mile or 5-10 year service interval, whichever comes first) - do NOT delay timing belt service on interference engines
• Cross-reference: Chevrolet Spectrum 1985-1988 (same vehicle, pre-Geo brand badging) AND Isuzu I-Mark (US export sibling) AND Isuzu Gemini (Japan domestic market same vehicle) - parts cross-reference significantly expands sourcing for this rare vehicle
• Belt teeth condition verified (no missing teeth, no cracking)
• Length and width specification documented (matches OEM Spectrum specification)
• Cord integrity inspected (no visible cord damage / separation)
• Strongly recommend complete timing belt kit (belt + tensioner + idler + water pump) when servicing - call (855) 634-4447 for kit pricing
• Geo captive-import cluster: This Geo Spectrum Timing Belt is part of our Geo captive-import cluster including Geo Metro Throwout Bearing + Geo Prizm Tie Rod + Geo Storm Timing Cover
• 15 day replacement warranty on component defects
